The RELKO team is a distinguished group of engineers, applied scientist and management consultant who are widely recognised for their problem solving capabilities in the field of safety of nuclear power plants equipped with WWER type reactor. The team has gained experience with the plant safety within the comprehensive level 1 and level 2 probabilistic safety assesment of the J. Bohunice V1, J. Bohunice V2 and Mochovce NPP.

RELKO Ltd has been involved in several international projects initiated to evaluate and improve the safety of the plants with WWER type reactor. We have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to co-operate in this area with the foremost companies and institutes from USA, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands and Austria. There is also a closed co-operation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. We are participating in the co-ordinated research projects and missions of IAEA.

Our activities are extended also in the chemical industry and other potentially dangerous technologies. The overall aim in this area is to improve the scientist basis for understanding industrial accidents, leading to better risk assesment, management, prevention and mitigation.
